Welcome to my tiny blogging thing.

Welcome to my Blog. Currently I am thinking what to put on here. Once I get the idea, I will be back. But why did I create a blog? Answer is, : 'just to see how it works.!'

A Free web hosting - learning scenario

  • Register an account at http://mzf.in to avail free website hosting.
  • After Sign up, Verify your email address by visiting your Inbox. check confirmation email. and click on the confirmation link. If by mistake, your email provider has moved the email to junk or spam, you may not see the confirmation email inside the inbox. You will have to check in other folders of you mail.
  • If you already created webspace here, click on the 'switch' button to enter the control panel.
  • After creating a hosting account, you can start using it.
  • Use 'Zyro Builder' or 'Auto Installer' to install a easy website. [Auto installer contains many options. I suggest 'Wordpress' for beginners]. If it is difficult for you, Use Zyro builder only.
  • If you feel messy, or if you do some thing wrong, its fine, try again. Keep safe back up of your files. Download all your files using FTP software.
  • If you want to clean everything and start again, Click on 'Reload Account'. All your files and settings will be erased to the initial stage.
Please note: There are many alternate sites offering similar features, but 'unlimited' features is a misleading trick. You can find and use reliable alternatives from other sites as well.

A glance on few Features (Free)
  • 5Gb of space expandable upto 10GB.
  • 100 GB of bandwidth per month. (We hardly use even 25% of it)
  • 'Mysql' databases.
  • PHP webhosting
  • Easy site builder.
  • Custom Sub domains : Eg : 'yourschool.mzf.in' is completely free.
  • You can use your own domain name as well. Eg: www.myschool.in (A domain must be registered first by you via a registrar. A famous registrar For example: godaddy.com.This will cost some money. But it is all up to you if a domain name is needed by you. You can always use free sub domain for your school.)
  • Remember to share your ideas with others when you have got enough knowledge
You can try http://www.mzf.in as as long as it offers its free service. no liability taken from me.. This offers more features and some 'unlimited features as well. Its worth is not completely known. And no guarantee how long these things remain available.

FREE WEB HOSTING DOES NOT GIVE YOU ANY WARRANTY. IT MAY HAVE SOME LIMITATIONS. IF YOU WANT MORE FEATURES, RELIABILITY, GO FOR PAID SERVICES of any provider. BOTH SITES STATED ABOVE ARE  OWNED BY ME, Yet, IF you BUY FROM mzf.in  , YOU WILL BECOME THE CUSTOMER OF THIRD PARTIES WHOM I DO NOT KNOW. I am not doing any business here, no warranty as well. I am only linking you to use free hosting. TO HOST WEBSITES PROFESSIONALLY,  USE YOUR OWN INSTINCTS.)

Create PDF from Editable Documents.

Creating PDFs for older systems
Present operating systems are qquite well equipped with pdf support in OS itself.
One can print the office document with any type of fonts in them - into pdf . Especially this is required for those spreadsheet applications which do not enable 'embed fonts' option in them. So, to keep the structure intact for portability and sharing, it is a better option to convert into pdf.
If you want to convert a document file to PDF on Windows, [Later versions of MS Office have this option inbuilt] A handy Tool, 'Do PDF' can be installed. (You can use any other tools also as per your wish)
[Note: I am not associated /financially benefitted or related in any manner with these tools and apps mentioned here.]
Go to
http://www.dopdf.com/quick-download.php

to download.
Then Install the file in Windows System by double clicking it, And follow the setup instructions.
After installing dofdf,
Open the word file,
Go to Print.
Select 'Dopdf' as the printer.
Click on Print.
A Dopdf menu will appear. Tick "EMBED FONTS" in the options and quality.
Click browse. and Save Where ever you want to save the pdf file.
Finally, Click on OK

Another solution:
You can install 'OpenOffice' or 'LibreOffice'. (Latter is the new name for the same software)
There is another company called 'Apache' which develops Apache Open Office. Which is also similar to OpenOffice, But differs in some functionalities.
Initially There was one OpenOffice, then there were few more versions built by different parties, creating 2 to 3 branches of application development. (To know more, search in wikipedia)
You can use 'LibreOffice' and Apache Open Office in Windows as well. Which will allow you to do all tasks that MS office does. You can directly convert word excel etc files into pdf.
DOWNLOAD ANY ONE FILE FROM BELOW. (You need faster internet to download bigger files)
A recent version of LibreOffice () can be downloaded from here. (Click Here)
A recent version of Apache Open Office () can be downloaded from here. (Click Here).
LibreOffice allows you to convert its files into PDF directly.
To install other versions, (And if you come to see this post after several days, By that time any new version may be available.)
